A Kauai timeshare is a great way to ensure that you have a nice place to come home to when you are done exploring the island.

Like all of the islands of Hawaii, Kauais history is steeped in rich history and interesting folklore. The island was formed by deep water Pacific volcanoes that built up over the millennia to form the island chain. These volcanoes left behind an island filled with atolls fringing coral reefs that are a divers paradise. It is amazing how so much beauty arose from the destructive fires of the earth. The islands first settlers came to the island during the fourth or fifth century and they were the first ones to see the way the island was untouched and pristine.

Captain James Cook was the first white man to set foot on Kauai during a trip to Alaska. He toured the island as well as Niihau, a private island that is considered part of Kauai County. The island was conquered by King Kamehameha I who also conquered the rest of the Hawaiian Islands. King Kaumualii, the ruler of Kauai at the time, offered Kauai to Kamehameha I in order to avoid any more bloodshed between the two island nations.

One of the most interesting legends you will hear of when visiting your Kauai timeshare is that of the Menehune people.
